On the way home from school, Sana heard a soft whine behind a bush.
It was a small brown puppy with a blue collar.
The puppy was wet and shivering. Sana wrapped him in her scarf and took him home.
Her mother gave him warm milk, and Sana read the phone number on his collar.
They called the number. An old man answered. He had been looking for his puppy all day.
He came at once and thanked Sana again and again.
“Bruno is lucky that a kind girl found him,” he said.
