Every morning she laid one golden egg.
The farmer sold the eggs and became rich.
But he wanted all the gold at once.
He locked the goose in a small cage and shouted, “Lay ten eggs today!”
The frightened goose stopped laying eggs. As soon as the cage was opened, she flew away.
Greed makes us lose what we already have.
