A flock of doves flew over a forest, looking for food.
They saw grains of rice on the ground and flew down to eat.
It was a trap! A hunter’s net fell over them.
“Do not be afraid,” said the wise old dove. “If we all fly up together, we can lift the net.”
They flapped their wings at the same time and rose into the sky with the net.
They flew to their friend, a mouse, who cut the net with his sharp teeth.
The doves were free because they worked together.
