Temperature tells us how hot or cold something is.
We measure temperature with a thermometer, in degrees Celsius.
The normal temperature of the human body is 37 degrees Celsius.
Water freezes at 0 degrees Celsius and boils at 100 degrees Celsius.
Heat always flows from a hotter object to a colder object.
In solids heat travels by conduction. In liquids and gases it travels by convection.
Heat from the Sun reaches us by radiation, which needs no medium.
