Reproduction in plants · पादपों में जनन
A free Biology lesson for Class 7 children.
Flowers are the reproductive parts of a plant.
The stamen is the male part. Its anther makes pollen grains.
The pistil is the female part. Its ovary holds the ovules.
Pollination is the transfer of pollen from the anther to the stigma.
Wind, water and insects carry pollen from flower to flower.
After fertilisation the ovary grows into a fruit and the ovules become seeds.
Seeds are scattered by wind, water and animals. This is seed dispersal.
