Breathing and the lungs · श्वसन और फेफड़े
A free Biology lesson for Class 5 children.
We breathe in air through the nose. Tiny hairs in the nose trap dust.
The air goes down the windpipe.
The windpipe divides into two tubes. Each one is called a bronchus.
In the lungs, oxygen from the air passes into the blood.
The blood gives back carbon dioxide, and we breathe it out.
The diaphragm is a sheet of muscle below the lungs.
When it moves down we breathe in, and when it moves up we breathe out.
