Roots fix the plant in the soil. They take in water and minerals.
The stem holds the plant up. It carries water to the leaves.
Leaves are green. They make food for the plant using sunlight, air and water.
Flowers grow into fruits.
Fruits hold the seeds. A seed grows into a new plant.
We eat many parts of plants. A carrot is a root and spinach is a leaf.
